Established in 1901, the Department of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty (PARL) has been the Seventh-day Adventist Church's voice to governments, religious organizations, and international bodies. Through advocating, safeguarding, and championing religious freedom and human rights globally, PARL represents the church on public matters and upholds Adventist principles of worship and belief. Alongside its role at the General Conference, PARL maintains offices in Washington D.C. for congressional engagement and in New York City for interactions with the United Nations.<\/span><\/div><div
